German Museum of Games

A museum full of excitement and fun. Here in the German Game Museum you will find games from the last decades and you can not only watch but also try out the games. Show your children what you were playing with and play in matches with card, board and electronic games.

Chemnitz Kitchen Forest

With an area of almost 100 hectares, the park is one of the largest facilities in Saxony. Its origins go back to the 11th century, but at that time it was mainly used for food. Today it offers a variety of exciting opportunities for young and old. Here are a few suggestions:

Sigmund Jähn Cosmonaut Centre

Here you can take a space test and determine whether you are suitable for a journey into the distance. You will also visit a real rocket. Are you following in the footsteps of Sigmund Jähn or Andrijan Nikolayev?

Park railway

For more than 60 years now, the park railway has been in operation in the Küchwald Park. Your circuit has a total length of 2.3 km on a 600 mm track. The proceeds of the park railway are used for charitable purposes and serve to support and vocational orientation of the youth in Chemnitz.

Fairy tale and adventure park Plohn

Eat gingerbread with Hansel and Gretel, guess Rumpelstiltskin's name, shake out the pillows with Mrs. Holle. You will meet these and many other fairy tale figures in the fairy tale and adventure park Plohn. An excursion to another world that stimulates your children's imagination.

Please note that the Fairytale Park is located about 50 km from the hotel.
